FAQs

  • My hourly rate is $200/hour and I have a $150 minimum. I generally charge hourly for any larger scale and multi-session pieces, while smaller or single-session pieces will be charged per-piece.

There are various factors that go into pricing a tattoo: the amount of detail in the design; overall sizing; placement; and whether the tattoo is black/gray, color, or just linework. For reference, a palm-sized design will generally cost about $300. I'm happy to provide a general price range upon an email request, though the final price will be determined after the tattoo is completed.

  • I generally try to book only one month in advance. I’m prioritizing flash designs at this time so if you’re interested in booking, visit my Available Flash to email/DM me!

  • Cover ups — Typically no, but if the existing tattoo is small enough or the pigment is noticeably faded, I’d be happy to discuss potential options.

Touch ups — I offer one free touch up within the first year.

  • In most cases, I’m unable to provide a rendering of your design before our appointment. I make exceptions for large-scale projects, in which I do my best to send sketches via email one day in advance. I’m happy to make minor adjustments to designs on the day of our appointment, though major changes may require us to reschedule for a later date.

  • Yes, the shop currently allows one guest to accompany you to your appointment if you choose.

  • Headphones — Yes! Out of courtesy to other artists and clients, please be sure to bring headphones. I’m happy to chat throughout our session, though if you prefer to listen to music or catch up on your shows, you’re more than welcome!

Please don’t hesitate to request a silent appointment as well. If you're anxious, tired, mentally drained, etc. and would like to avoid conversation and have quiet time, I'm happy to oblige. Regardless of your reasoning, there is zero judgment!

Food — Feel free to bring a snack to your appointment, especially if you’re anticipating a longer session! Water, carbonated beverages and candy is available upon request.

  • Running late — I understand emergencies or delays happen. If you’re running late to your appointment, please email me to let me know. Your deposit and/or session may be forfeited if you fail to provide notification by 30 minutes AFTER your scheduled appointment time.

Cancellation/Rescheduling — If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let me know at least 48-hours in advance. An additional $50 deposit will be required to reschedule if given less than 48 hours notice. Exceptions can be made in emergency situations but will be up to my discretion.

  • Payment — I accept cash or electronically through Zelle only.

Tipping — Tipping is not required but is always appreciated!

  • I have sketches and reference material that I reserve for clients in-person. If you don’t see anything that catches your eye in my Available Flash but would like to see similar designs, please come by the shop and I’d be thrilled to let you browse through the many available designs we keep in-house!

  • I prefer using Tegaderm/second skin for tattoo healing, which I provide. A padded, absorbent bandage is available if preferred. Please see below for Tegaderm aftercare instructions:

    - Before applying Tegaderm, wash tattoo with mild water and non-scented soap. Pat dry.

    - Peel off the back layers (paper side) of the Tegaderm. Sticky side down, apply bandage on top of the tattoo. Smooth bandage down and remove top layers, starting from the blue strip. Smooth out the edges of bandage with your fingers, ensuring it’s fully sealed on top of your skin.

    - Leave bandage on for 3-5 days. You can shower like normal but keep physical activity to a minimum to avoid sweat buildup underneath the bandage.

    - After 3-5 days, peel off Tegaderm. Removing bandage in the shower is recommended. Allow water to run underneath the bandage while removing. Wash tattoo to remove any dried plasma/natural discharge.

    - It’s normal for your tattoo to flake slightly or to still be a little itchy. It’s still healing! Apply non-scented lotion as needed and wash tattoo daily for remainder of healing process.

    - Average healing time: 2 weeks
